I'm currently working on some fox illustrations. Inspired by some photos my mother and father-in-law took of a fox family living across the street from their house. They caught some really cool photos of the mother fox with her babies. I'm not sure the direction I'm going to go with yet on these, but I'm excited to work on the artwork!
Declan loves to color and has filled up many coloring books and pads of paper. It's fun to make marks with him!
I am so excited to announce that I recently moved to a new space to create artwork. Before I rented studio space, I had a hard time concentrating at home with household distractions, including my son asking me "What's that?" for the latest thing he's found. Being home also made it far too easy to procrastinate rather than sitting down and working on my artwork. I thought by having a space away from my house, and that if I stuck to a regular routine, I would at least have an opportunity to work on my art on a consistent basis; I would have a space of my own to sit down and create. I have been using my new studio space for about a month and it's been so fun setting everything up! I have found that even though I'm only coming in for short spurts of time, I am getting a lot done. I've recently completed a painting that I've been trying to finish since January. More on that later!
